I have been a general pediatrician at Vineland Pediatrics, a 3-pediatrician group practice since September 1979. I am the founder of this group and was the managing physician from 1979 through 2001.

·        Instructor of Pediatrics – Medical College of Pennsylvania. Temporary position one afternoon every other week teaching students and residents in the Pediatric Outpatient Department 1979 – 1981.

·        General Pediatrics at Salantic Health Services, Folsom, New Jersey.  Part time 1980 - 1982.  This is a government subsidized health care facility for low-income families.

·        General Pediatrics at Newcomb Medical Center’s Pediatrics Clinic, Vineland, NJ. Part time June 1983 – June 1984. This was a government subsidized pilot health project.

·        DynoSoft:  I started up an internet based software company to sell computer programs I developed for medical applications, business, and the running of wrestling tournaments. 1994 – 1999.

·        Bowling coaching.

            Current:

Previous:

·        Millville Hospital, Millville, New Jersey.  Department of Pediatrics, Courtesy consulting privileges July 1979 – 1981.  I resigned due to a lack of practice activity at this hospital.

·        Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Temporary courtesy privileges in The Department of Pediatrics 1979 – 1981.  I obtained this as a requirement of my previous teaching position there.

·        Jefferson Medical College Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Department of Pediatrics 1985 – 1993. I obtained this as a requirement of my previous teaching position there.

·        Elmer Hospital, Elmer, New Jersey.  Temporary privileges in Pediatrics 3/80 – 5/80.  I resigned due to a lack of practice activity at this hospital.

·        Underwood Hospital, Woodbury, New Jersey 3/79 – 5/79.  This was required for covering the practice of Carlino, Okie, & Beal.

 

Hospital Administration:

Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Newcomb Medical Center, Vineland, NJ 4/1/96 – 11/5/99.  I held this position during the merger of South Jersey Hospital System with Newcomb Medical Center.

Besides English, I am fluent in Spanish.

            NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support) certified.

            BLS certified.

 

Hobbies:

·        Aquariums: Fresh water, salt-water fish only, reefs, seahorses, turtles, ponds. I belong to the Chesapeake Marine Aquaria Society, which meets at, and is affiliated with the National Aquarium in Baltimore.

·        Bowling: I am certified as a both a level II USA Junior Olympic Bowling and USA Bowling Silver Level Coach.
